Yes, it's common wisdom that
pain and hardship build character. But I'd like to propose some new common
wisdom. Life is great when you have lots of money. I know. Money isn't
everything. But I would have been much happier if I could have learned
about life while napping in front of a wide-screen TV or listening to
my five-thousand-dollar stereo. And think about the lessons I could have
learned if I had gotten the new car my dad always promised me.
