The
Bulletin Dozen is a monthly theme-based list of titles . Since we're
awfully fond of bakers here at the Bulletin, we thought we'd adopt their
philosophy of generosity and throw in an extra one or two when we have them to
offer.
This February: Love Stories
It's February, and that means Valentine's Day, which means--like it or
not--love. As young and old realize, however, books are often more
dependable than people when it comes to romance, and they don't get
annoyed if you juggle two at once. Fortunately there are love stories
aplenty in the world; here's an eclectic selection of some notable ones,
chosen with an eye to variety of age-appropriateness, tone, and style.
