| The Quigleys had a late lunch. This was because Dad took the children
back to their hotel room first, so he could shout at them without anyone
else hearing. He shouted for quite a long time about good behaviour. he
reminded them loudly of the Family Rules. The Quigleys
had three Family Rules, to help with being well-behaved. They were: 1) Be Polite and Pleasant 2) Don't Bicker or Fight 3) Think Before You Speak Dad explained that piling up valuable old books on snooker tables counted as Not Being Polite. Will didn't agree, but Dad was very sure. Dad was hoarse from being sure. | |
